

Max L. Siegel is the President of Global Operations at Dale Earnhardt Inc., the top motor sports franchise in NASCAR. As one of the most influential executives in the entertainment and sports industries, Siegel recently made history as the highest-ranking African American executive in NASCAR. Siegel oversees the entire organization including competition, marketing, sales, sponsorship and distribution for all DEI’s properties including motor sports teams, licensing, promotion, business development, and the Dale Earnhardt Foundation.
With over fifteen years of brokering deals and project management, Siegel is known for his shrewd and savvy business expertise. The former Sony BMG/ Zomba Label Group executive held dual positions as Senior Vice President of Zomba Label and President of Zomba Gospel. During his tenure at Sony BMG, Max Siegel helped the company score more #1 hits and several gold and platinum records than ever before. Siegel served on the executive team that produced number one pop artists such as Britney Spears, Usher, Justin Timberlake, N’Sync and R.Kelly.
An accomplished entertainment executive, attorney, author, conference organizer and television & film producer, he is one of the most sought after persons in the entertainment industry. He has appeared on Oprah, twice in one year; Tavis Smiley’s NPR and has been featured in national major media such as Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, Crain’s New York Business, ESPN, CNBC, Black Enterprise and Billboard Magazine, among others.
Max Siegel is an Indianapolis native and a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, School of Law. While enrolled as a student, he made history at Notre Dame as the first African American to graduate with honors from their School of Law. During the past 12-years, the Indianapolis native has also presided over the legal affairs for several Fortune 500 corporations including General Motors, Eli Lilly, Ameritech (now AT&T), as well as professional sports, entertainment individuals and organizations.
Siegel’s legal expertise and business acumen has afforded him the reputation as a “win-win attorney” among his peers. While at the Bakers and Daniels Law Firm (1992-94), Siegel was instrumental in building their Sports and Entertainment Division. He became President of the Indianapolis-based SCA Sports and Entertainment Group LLC between 1994-98 and played a major role in the shaping of sports athletes such as Tony Gwynn and Reggie White. His legal knowledge has earned him the opportunity to serve in various leadership positions within high-profile professional organizations such as, The American Bar Association, The New York and Indiana State Bar Association and The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Max Siegel is married to his childhood friend Jennifer and they have three children and split their time between homes in Indianapolis and Charlotte, NC.
